It is accompanied by portable furniture to facilitate various instructional activities related to cooking and Japanese home and lifestyle, both in group settings and individually. The cooking instruction space, as mentioned before, has been designed as a serene area with a Japanese aesthetic. The main source of natural light in the void area is provided through a narrow overhead window.ĭuring the night, cylindrical black lights illuminate the space.ĭetails of Furniture Used In The Cooking Academy The lighting design has also been kept minimal to prevent the space from feeling crowded as much as possible. Wood material has been used uniformly in all spaces, but with a simple texture. In case classes are not held, the space can be used for other related classes such as embroidery, sewing, and clothing weaving.Īdditionally, due to the presence of a kitchen, this space can also be used by chefs for preparing Japanese dishes.Ī space on the outskirts of this floor is furnished with unique furniture, giving a cafe-like and welcoming feel to attract customers to the cooking classes. The mezzanine area is dedicated to cooking instruction as a whole. The main reason for changing the staircase to a direct ramp is to create more space for displaying product shelves. Interior alternatives for the project have been divided into two categories based on changes in the number of ramps for accessing the upper floor. The final space includes refrigerators, remaining space, and an entrance for Japanese products.
